Nokia revealed the Lumia 925 at a press event in London on May 14 and initially the handset is expected to reach the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and China and will then arrive in other regions including the U.S.
The 32GB version of the handset is said to be exclusive only to Vodaphone in the UK, but now the 32GB version of the smartphone has appeared on a T-Mobile (Germany) internal document.
A German website WPArea.de (translated in English) claims to have received a screen shot of a T-Mobile internal document which shows the 32GB version of the Lumia 925. Now the question arises if the 32GB variant of the handset will also head to other carriers.
Many smartphone enthusiasts would have been disappointed to see only the 16GB version of the Lumia 925 without the option to expand using a microSD card.
Phones Review reports "We had informed that the phone would be released in some regions in June but a particular date had not been given by Nokia. However this inventory system shows the Lumia 925 as arriving in the week beginning June 9."
The Lumia 925 will arrive in the U.S. via T-Mobile. It will be interesting to see if the 32GB storage option for the handset will be available across borders on the carrier.
The Windows Phone 8 (WP8)-powered Lumia 925 has received some minor upgrades when compared to the Lumia 920. However, customers in the U.S. will be happy to see a top-end WP8 smartphone heading to T-Mobile. Currently, the Lumia 920 is available only on AT&T and the recently launched Lumia 928 will be exclusive only to Verizon.
If you are looking to buy a top-end WP8 handset will you buy the Lumia 925?
