When it comes to Dark Souls 3, it is a crime not to discuss the various bosses in it. After all, they are among the reasons why the game continues to acquire success. That no matter how hard or difficult to kill these monsters, players enjoy the thrill they provide. This is exactly why the newest boss in the latest DLC The Ringed City didn't disappoint. Apparently, there's a reason why this boss, in particular, is the best in the series by far.
The newest -- and probably one of the hardest -- Dark Souls 3 boss is called Slave Knight Gael. As PC Gamer describes it, this one here is a person who undergone endless trials and agony thanks to the more corrupt rule of the Lothric royalty. That despite this unconquerable feat, he strives to hope for a new start, so to speak.
In Dark Souls 3 (or like any other games), there's fun in killing massive bosses. They just basically ramp up the thrill metrics in an instant. However, unlike other boss in the series, Gael shares a more interesting story. Perhaps this is due to the fact that he was once a man and probably destined for greatness. The publication notes that while fighting this monster, there's this feeling of speculating how Gael ended up so powerful yet cruel.
The elements FromSoftware used to developer the aforementioned Dark Souls 3 boss is quite impressive. That it's barely a sight to see both character and mechanics combined in order to come up with a very unique monster. But of course, add to this the factor of giving an intense fight experience.
Gael, in its most organic form, however, is probably among the simplest bosses in Dark Souls 3. He doesn't summon any other foes to help him fight players. Heck, there are even no surprise second health bars. The studio did a wonderful mechanic in combining camera angle and beautiful moveset. Well, this is probably understandable given the fact that this could be the last DLC for the game. So, in a sense, the studio might just want to give the community something to remember for all lifetime.
For those who have yet to acquire Dark Souls 3, now is the perfect time. VG247 reports that it's currently on sale on Steam with a whopping 50 percent discount. They should also really rush into it, as it's a limited offer.
