The OnePlus 5 has nothing to hide anymore. The latest leak to surface reveals each and every major detail about the highly anticipated flagship smartphone. As has been rumored for a long while now, the OnePlus 5 is awesome.
A BGR report indicated that a series of leaks have practically divulged everything that needs to be known about the OnePlus 5. A week ago, some of the major specs of the upcoming handset, including a horizontal dual lens rear camera and a fingerprint sensor at the front, were revealed through Weibo by Kumamoto Technology. Another leak from a few of days ago showed that the OnePlus 5 outperformed the Samsung Galaxy S8 in benchmark tests.
The new leak, which was posted on Slashleaks, shows practically every specification of the OnePlus 5. According to the said leak, the flagship smartphone is a 4G phablet measuring 15.27 x 7.47 x 0.70 centimeters and weighing 0.1560 kilograms.
It will come unlocked, will have multi-language and will be dual-SIM capable. It also said that it will run on Android 7.1 OS out of the box. The OnePlus 5 will be power by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 2.35GHz Octa Core processor with up to 8GB of RAM and 64GB ROM. External memory can be expanded up to 128GB. It will have a non-removable 4000mAh battery.
The OnePlus 5 will sport a 5.5-inch capacitive screen with 2580 x 1440 pixel resolution. Perhaps one of the most impressive features of the OnePlus 5 is its cameras. It will come with dual cameras at the front and at the back. The front dual camera will have 16 megapixels while the rear one will have 23 megapixels. The cameras will be capable of video recording, touch focus, autofocus, and flashlight. The OnePlus 5 will also support different formats for pictures, music, and videos as well as E-book and games.
The OnePlus flagship can connect via 3G, 4g, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, GSM, and Wi-Fi 802.11. Other features include I/O interface, a couple of Nano SIM slots, microphone speaker, a TF/microSD card slot, and a USB-Type C slot. Thankfully, the OnePlus 5 retains the traditional 3.5mm audio out port. It will also come with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, E-compass, gyroscope, hall sensor, and a proximity sensor. Finally, the OnePlus 5 leak says the device will have an alarm, calculator, fingerprint recognition, fingerprint unlocking feature, MP3, and MP4.
