Samsung Galaxy Note 3 shows up on Samsung website, specs leaked

Still consigned to the realm of rumors, speculations and leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the next-gen phablet from the number one mobile device manufacturer on the planet that we all just can't stop talking about. It seems there's something new buzzing around the web when it comes to the Note 3, though, as the device apparently popped up on none other than a Samsung website over the weekend.

Along with the much-talked-about Galaxy S4 Zoom and Galaxy Tab 3 10.1, the Galaxy Note 3 more specifically showed up on the VIP section of Samsung Kazakhstan before being summarily removed soon after. No other information aside from the mere existence of the Note 3 appeared on the page.

Luckily, Techtastic was able to grab a screenshot of the otherwise chimerical Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9000) from the page before it mysteriously disappeared.

As Gotta Be Mobile's report on the Techtastic Note 3 screenshot that was published on Monday, June 3 points out, this is certainly not the first time a forthcoming device leak of this nature has "accidentally" appeared on a Samsung website.

"While there are times these leaks are on target, other times it is an employee repeating rumors," Gotta Be Mobile aptly adds.

There was also on Sunday, June 2 a possible specs leak anent the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 that was tweeted by fairly reliable site SamMobile.

These specs include:

  • 5.99 inch 1080p Super AMOLED Full HD (367ppi)
  • 13MP camera
  • 8mm thickness, 182 grams
  • 3GB of RAM
  • LTE support

The Galaxy Note 3 processor, according to the SamMobile tweet, has yet to be decided upon by Samsung.

Whereas the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will likely be launched at IFA Berlin this September (though there are those who say the launch may come as early as June or July and as late as October), the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 was announced on the morning of Monday, June 3.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom, meanwhile, will probably be announced on Thursday, June 20 at an event in London along with the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and Galaxy S4 Active.
