Samsung Galaxy Note 3 image leaks revealing ultra thin bezel display

Samsung has confirmed it will unveil the Galaxy Note 3 on September 4 but images have leaked ahead of the big event, revealing the phablet's 5.68-inch display with ultra thin bezels.

Samsung is gearing up to unveil its first smartwatch, the Galaxy Gear and the Galaxy Note 3 at an Unpacked event it is holding on September 4. The company has done a great job with keeping both devices under wraps before the official announcement. With only a few days to go, however, new images of the Galaxy Note 3's front panel have leaked, confirming its size and design.

ETrade Supply posted new images of what it claims to be the Galaxy Note 3's front panel. The site claims it was able to get its hands on the Galaxy Note 3 display assembly and can confirm its exact measurement. The Galaxy Note 3 will use a larger display than its predecessor and will come in at 5.68-inches. Samsung has designed the next-generation phablet to use very thin bezels around the sides of the display and the site reports that they measure a very thin 2.2 millimeters, providing an almost edge-to-edge display. The site also reports that the total thickness of the display is merely 1.8mm, so we should expect the Galaxy Note 3 to be a very thin phablet when it is officially unveiled.

The most recent rumors of the Galaxy Note 3's specs claim Samsung will release the device in two flavors, just like it did with the Galaxy S4. The main difference between the two will come in the form of either an eight-core Samsung Exynos octa-core processor or a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. It will reportedly feature a 5.68-inch 1080 x 1920 Full HD Super AMOLED display and run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz Nature UX. It will include 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and use Samsung's newly-announced 3GB RAM modules. The phablet is expected to use the same 13-megapixel rear camera found in the Galaxy S4 and include a 2-megapixel front facing camera. Samsung is also expected to include enhanced S-Pen features and applications to further differentiate it from its upcoming phablet rivals.

We'll be covering the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear launch on September 4 and will keep you updated as new information comes in leading up to the event.
