Infinity Ward announces its day one update along with patch notes today. That means if you have the copy of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, you may have to update the game first. The new update covers some bug fixes and improvements on the existing game modes.
According to the report from Attack of the Fanboy, the update was intended to address the several feedback of the fans when they play the beta version of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare last month. The patch notes also reveals weapon balancing to arrive soon. In addition, the download size will vary on the type of platforms you are using since it was revealed that each of the slated platforms have different file sizes and PlayStation 4 being the smallest among the three.
A recent post from Reddit reveals the full patch notes for the latest Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare update. Based on the post, player list is now disabled since a certain bug has been tracked down, next on the list is the earn rates of Weapons/Abilities in Combat Rig has been tuned based on Beta Metrics. Max player speed is now fixed when stacking PerksTraitsGun Perks.
Killstreaks are now buffed based on Beta Feedback (THOR, APEX, Bombardment, RC-8) -that has been received previously. Next changes are the small reduction to SMG movement speed and Film Grain reduction for MP. Miscellaneous fixes for gamemodes and medals are also included on the patch notes. Based on the report, players are required to download the update once they log in online to play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Meanwhile, Infinity Ward is sure to release some additional updates to the game anytime soon. Additionally, players might also receive additional patches for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered if they have the game as well.
Both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered are available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
