Overwatch's Sombra arrived on all slated platforms for about a couple of weeks ago. Apparently, the skilled hacker has becoming quite popular to the game's community. As a result of this popularity, it seems like Sombra has breached her way into a complete different world of Street Fighter V. As it was reported, a creative modder managed to create a Sombra skin mod for Street Fighter V character Laura Matsuda.
According to the report from Game Rant, fans commented that Sombra somehow shares resemblance with Laura during its reveal at BlizzCon 2016. As a result, this drives modder The JamK created a masterpiece of Sombra being inside Laura's body. Prior to the report, a video trailer has been released showcasing Sombra as Laura. Though the audio and emotes remain the same, however, it is a bit funny to see and hear Sombra doing things outside her norm.
Aside from the voice and animations, the overall appearance of the character looks exactly like Sombra. Apparently, this is not the first time The JamK created an Overwatch skin mod for Street Fighter V. It was reported that the modder has also created skins like Mei, Tracer and Reinhardt before. That means he is now an expert of doing these kind of things. It is also worth noting that Overwatch's unique character designs attract most of the fighting game fans to the game title.
Meanwhile, Blizzard noted that they would not be releasing another character yet. However, if that happens, it would not be long for The JamK or another Streetfighter modder to create a skin out of the new character.
On the other hand, Capcom announced recently that Street Fighter V will continue to receive support until the year 2020. Prior to the announcement, the developer has recently released a new stage where players will battle while standing on a wing of the moving plane. As for Sombra, players are still learning on how to effectively use her during skirmish. Meanwhile, Overwatch might host a Christmas Event which will bring lots of new cosmetics and bonuses on all of the game's character.
