The 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon
Just like America has its annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show where great cars are displayed for fans and enthusiasts to see, Japan also has its own version called Tokyo Auto Salon that is also held each year. According to a report from Motor1, the next Tokyo Auto Salon will be held on Jan. 13, 2017.
Mazda's Custom CXs
Apparently, Mazda is bringing a few surprises from its lineup in the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon. As reported, Mazda will be introducing custom versions of two SUVs from its CX lineup, the CX-5 and the CX-3. Accordingly the custom versions will feature an aggressive looks thanks to sporty body kits that have been incorporated to the CX versions.
MX-5: The Star Of The Show
While the custom versions of the CX-5 and CX-3 will certainly bring excitement in the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon, the real star in Mazda's lineup is the MX-5 Miata RF. Reports stated that the MX-5 will also feature custom body kits and parts from the exterior to the interior. In addition, the custom Mazda MX-5 Miata RF will also feature a retro paint job from the late 80s.
Building Excitement
With only a few weeks left before the event kicks off, the excitement among Mazda fans and enthusiasts is certainly building. Given the fact however, that the event will take place in Japan, those that want to see the custom version of the MX-5 will simpy have to book a flight to Tokyo next month to see it in person.
