Call Of Duty: Infinite Warefare Beats Battlefield 1 For The Best-Selling Console Game In November

They say that there are two types of hardcore FPS fans, those that play Call of Duty and those that play Battlefield. For several years now, the two prominent titles have been battling their way out for supremacy but today, there's finally a definitive winner between the two - on consoles.

SuperData Reveals Infinite Warfare Is the #1 Console Game In November

Despite the myriad of negative remarks and reviews, it appears that fans from the iconic first-person shooter has never fazed and instead, even bolstered the popularity of the title in the console platform. In the latest data released by the research company, SuperData, it was revealed that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare sits atop Battlefield 1 as the best-selling console game for the month of November.

The news came as a surprise after torrents of negative reviews plagued the latest iteration of the COD franchise. What's more surprising is the fact that this figure materialized in spite of EA's effort to polarized Call of Duty's fan-based by releasing two FPS titles prior to its launch: Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2. Based on the data, only the former was able to reach the top 10 chart.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warefare vs Battlefield 1

Although the news is quite surprising, take note that COD still falls behind Battlefield 1 in the PC market where the aforementioned title wasn't even able to reach the top 10 chart. And even though Infinite Warfare managed to toppled BF1 in console, the latter was able to reach the #2 spot which, if you take both platforms in consideration, make BF1 stood out over Call of Duty when it comes to the overall revenues.
