Symmetra has found an all new popularity after she was buffed up by the developers at Blizzard, and a lot of teams have been having more of her popping up in them and getting some very sweet kills. Reddit user daropian has found a way to charge up Symmetra's Ultimate in less than a minute, but it will be sure to piss off everyone in the enemy team.
In a video posted on Reddit, he shows that he was able to get the charge by immediately planting six turrets outside of the enemy spawn area before the match started, then hiding somewhere to attack the team with Symmetra's secondary fire. The ult charge was so quick that Symmetra was able to put up a teleporter in five seconds. That could only mean trouble for the enemy team.
Some players may not be so familiar with the use of the teleporter in-game, but it is considered to be another alternative to Mercy's "Heroes Never Die" ult where she resurrects all the dead team members mid-game. Some matches are lost because the spawn area is considered too far from the objective, and by the time players get to the next area, it's already time to "stop the payload" or "defend objective B."
Though daropian's tactic is effective for charging Symmetra's ult, it's possible that players can counter it immediately as long as they notice her placing the turrets at the beginning of the game. There's also the chance that the enemy team is smart enough to enter the game from the various exits that the turrets can't reach.
Some, of course, still consider this a move that can anger a lot of players, but it's well within the rules of the game and it just adds to the challenge. If the problem gets out of hand, however, Blizzard can very well decrease the ult charge that Symmetra receives from her kills. It's kind of ironic thinking that the devs would nerf Symmetra right after giving her a well-deserved buff. Well, Blizzard can giveth, and Blizzard can taketh away.
