Nokia Lumia 928: Looks Like This?

The forthcoming Nokia Lumia 928, aka Catwalk, is said to be launching as Nokia's newest Windows 8 phone flagship smartphone on May 15 and will likely be unveiled in London before being offered in the U.S. by Verizon via white, black, red and cyan colors.

Despite the fact that the Nokia Lumia 928 won't be revealed for more than a month and that one of the only things we know about the smartphone is that it is said to have an aluminium body (along with a possible image leak of the phone which might also be called the Laser or EOS), there have already been a few terrific concept renderings that are making many on the Web wonder if these are possibly what the new Nokia Lumia 928 could actually look like.

Ubergizmo caught a rather interesting rendering for the Nokia Lumia 928 that was created by Facebook user Phone Designer, which has already received rave reviews from commenters since being first posted on Monday, April 8.

"dam, thats SLEEEK," Bor Ouch comments.

"So sexy!" Mike Leone says.

Even one semi-critic is won over by Phone Designer's sleek design for the Nokia Lumia 928.

"Too edgy & too glossy for my taste. I prefer a more rounded shape, especially on the sides and the back. Nevertheless your rendering quality is stunning," Micha El Schröder comments.

Ubergizmo suggests that Phone Designer's render(s) for the Nokia Lumia 928 are likely based on the supposed leaks we've already seen of the phone and "are a bit more glossy" despite the fact that, being based on those leaks, there's "nothing new or out of the ordinary here."

Other revisions made by Phone Designer in the Nokia Lumia 928 renderings include "the squared edges of the phone are more pronounced, along with the addition of the rear-speaker grill which we have to wonder whether it will affect the sound when placed flat on its back," Ubergizmo says.

When it does finally get revealed, it's said that the Nokia Lumia 928 (or whatever it will be called) will come with a Xenon and LED flash for better photos using Flash. The actual smartphone will allegedly also be similar in appearance to the Nokia Lumia 720, and will not be as heavy as the Nokia Lumia 920.

"The device is also expected to feature 4.5 inch OLED display with a thickness of 10.2mm," as our previous report suggests.

What do you think? Are you looking forward to the Nokia Lumia 928 or does this rendering (along with previous "leaks") just make you glad you're an Android or iPhone user? Let us know in the comments below.
