Samsung has recently announced that seven U.S. carriers and seven U.S. retailers will offer the Galaxy S4. Now U.S. carriers Sprint and T-Mobile have announced the prices and availability information for the Galaxy S4.
"Samsung has a proven track record of delivering the 'Next Big Thing' in smartphone innovation," says John Legere, president and CEO, T-Mobile USA. "By combining our bold, Un-carrier moves — no restrictions, no limits and an unbeatable value — with Samsung's leading-edge technology, you're going to get the most from your Samsung Galaxy S 4 at T-Mobile — hands down."
T-Mobile announced that starting April 24, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available for $149.99 down payment and 24 equal monthly payments of $20 for "well-qualified buyers for 0% APR O.A.C." The smartphone will be available online as well as at select T-Mobile retail stores. Select T-Mobile dealers and national retail stores will start selling the handset May 1.
"Galaxy S 4 is packed with incredible new features that will benefit from unlimited data plans on the Sprint 4G LTE network," says Fared Adib, senior vice president - Product Development, Sprint. "Sprint encourages our customers to really use their smartphone to its full potential — from surfing the Web to listening to streaming music or watching YouTube videos — without worry about data caps, throttling or silly overage charges on their monthly bill. I know our customers will enjoy this device as much as I do."
Sprint had remained mum on the Galaxy S4 but now the carrier has also started to accept pre-orders for the device and expectedly, the smartphone will also arrive at Sprint retail stores on April 27.
Sprint will offer the Galaxy S4 at a price tag of $250 on a two-year contract; however, if you port your existing number then you can get a discount of $100, reducing the price of the handset to $150.
Only a few days remain before you will be able to finally lay your hands on the much-awaited Galaxy S4. Now the question arises: which carrier is the best one for you?
