Nokia has been pretty tight-lipped about the Lumia 928, but that hasn't stopped rumors about the Verizon device from leaking out.
Most recently, a rumor from parts supplier ETradeSupply indicates that the phone will feature a screen upgrade over the Lumia 920. It states that, unlike the Lumia 920's HD + LCD display, the Verizon Lumia 928 will sport an HD Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 768 resolution. The display appears to be lighter, thinner and taller than that found on the Lumia 920.
The display includes Gorilla Glass protection and the mic has been moved to a spot below the screen instead of on the bottom. A price tag is set at $211.40.
Also indicated for the Lumia 928 is a more appealing aluminum casing and a xenon flash to match the LED flash. Other features will reportedly stay the same as the Lumia 920, including the dual-core Snapdragon S4 at 1.5GHz.
On April 13, @evleaks tweeted a leaked rendering of the Verizon Nokia Lumia 928. The rendering displayed a black device with 4G LTE on the back and Verizon branding on the front. Some reports are indicating that certain parts of the phone are already out. And a recent video even showed how the screen assembly is done for the device.
Given that the Nokia Lumia 928 is not yet official, it is important to take the rumors with a grain of salt. The rumors, however, will still likely stir up some degree of excitement among Lumia fans.
