Pokemon Go News: Stealth Update Increases Chances For Players To Catch Certain Pokemon

Niantic has seemingly patched Pokemon Go that helps players find and catch a tricky monster. Meanwhile, there are still some noteworthy trackers that players can use in the game.

Pokemon Go Patch Makes it Easier to Catch a Specific Pokemon

According to Express.co.uk, developer Niantic has solved one of the problems that came with the Gen 2 update. Fans who have been struggling with trying to catch a Togetic are in luck because of a new update. Previously, the said Pokemon only had a one percent capture rate, making it nearly impossible to secure one.

Moreover, it would not matter as the player would use a special ball or berry as the rate would not change. Some netizens have even complained that they have shelled out so many Ultra Balls that have gone to waste. Because of this, the best way to get a Togetic would have been to simply catch or hatch a Togepi and evolve it.

Luckily enough, the update changes the rates to make it a bit fairer. The previous mentioned one percent is now five although the Pokemon still has a high escape rate. Even so, using berries and ultra balls should make the whole engagement much easier to manage.

Some Reliable Trackers That Still Work

On a different note, Kotaku reports some reliable trackers that players can still use for the game. Despite the various cease-and-desist letters to various trackers, there are still a few functioning good ones. For mobile, there is the PokiiMap for Android, PokeTracker for iOS, PokeWhere for iOS and PokeSensor for both units.

On the other hand, those who prefer using the web to track can access PokeHunter.co which is quite precise with little delay. Keep in mind that sometimes it requires a few tries to get accurate data. On the other hand, PokeSear.ch is accurate and easy to use but the website if often down. Fans can download Pokemon Go for free on Google Play and the iOS App Store.
