The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Unlocks These Items Using The New Amiibos

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will be getting a new set of amiibos that will unlock special items in the game. On the other hand, Nintendo updated the game's official site with details of the cast.

Eurogamer shares the details of the bonuses that come with the newest batch of Zelda amiibos. Nintendo has already begun shipping various copies of the Nintendo Switch along with the paraphernalia that comes with it - including the figurines. The back of the box reveals all of the items that fans can get when using the Switch or Wii U's NFC reader with the corresponding amiibo.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Amiibos Provide Useful Items

To begin with, the Guardian amiibo grants players some special arrows and a few items that can possibly be used for crafting. On the other hand, the Bokoblin gives two fancy clubs that seem to be stronger than the average one. Next, players can get a sword and horse saddle when registering the Horse Rider Link figurine.

Moving on, the Zelda amiibo will give players a standard-looking Hylian shield. Finally, the Link figurine gives fans a powerful-looking bow. It is worth noting that these items are attainable even without the amiibo as they will just give players early access to the weapons or items.

Nintendo Updates the Game's Official Site

That aside, TechnoBuffalo reports that the game's website has been updated with the initial plot and some character backgrounds. While there is nothing particularly new, it serves as a good refresher and gives some nice tidbits about some of the fresh personalities. In line with this, Zelda drops her role as a typical princess and becomes something similar to an archaeologist who investigates ruins scattered around the world.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will include an assortment of new enemies and items that are exclusive to the game. Those who want an edge when starting their playthrough can purchase the said amiibos. Fans can play the upcoming game next month on Mar. 3.
