The handset has a price tag of $250 with a two-year contract on the carrier but you get $50 back after the mail-in rebate, bringing the price of the handset in par with iPhone 5. If you want to buy the handset outright then you end up paying the same amount as the iPhone 5.

The handset has a price tag of $299.99 on a two-year contract and a price of $699.99 without contract on Verizon.

HTC Droid DNA

HTC Droid DNA made an appearance in Nov. 2012 and has become one of the important smartphones in Verizon's handset portfolio. The Droid DNA which offers a 5-inch 1080p display is one of the top-end smartphones available on Verizon. The Droid DNA is priced at $199.99 on a two-year contract and for $599.99 outright.

Samsung Galaxy S3

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 has put the Galaxy S3 in the back seat. However, many customers still like the handset and this is one of the reasons that Verizon still has the handset in its smartphone portfolio. The handset has a 4.8-inch display and is priced at $99 on a two-year contract and unfortunately the handset is not available outright from Verizon.
