Rainbow Six Siege Patch Notes Now Live, Three Characters Get Buffed

Ubisoft has revealed the details of the latest Rainbow Six Siege mid-season patch that brings in performance and bug fixes. On the other hand, three characters will be getting some buffs that might make them a more popular pick.

Rainbow Six Siege Brings In Some Interesting Changes

According to GameSpot, the latest Mid-Season Reinforcement update launches this week, which aims to improve the overall gameplay experience. In line with this, Glaz's sight has gotten an improvement to make it more viable. Just like with the previously teased feature, Glaz now has thermal vision feedback, which makes it easier to take down enemies. Similarly, the feature also works through smoke grenades, which makes Glaz a great counter to players who use them.

On the other hand, Doc can now overheal players up to 140 health from its previous 120. Similarly, Buck now has another magazine for his Skeleton key shotgun. It is also worth noting that the DMR's trigger rate is now reduced to prevent players from accidentally firing faster than they wanted to.

Moreover, certain sights are also getting some changes so it will not obstruct the player's view. Finally, Echo's MP5D2 now deals more mid-range damage as many believed it was ineffective in the past. The new patch also gives Twitch a new Elite set consisting of a matching uniform and headgear. It also comes with an Operator card, charm, title and victory animation.

Technical Test Servers Arriving This Week

On a different note, Game Rant reports that the studio announced the arrival of the technical test servers. This will allow developers to have a live testing environment as they continue to enhance the game. For now, they are focusing on improving one-stop matchmaking to improve wait times and errors, which have been a major problem since 2015.

These new changes should put a new spin on Rainbow Six Siege to give players more reasons to keep playing. Fans will not have to wait much longer as the changes will arrive on March 15. Those who want to play the shooter can purchase a copy for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
