Dark Souls 3 The Ringed City DLC has been announced previously through a video trailer. Thankfully, the wait is over for those players who are waiting for the new content to arrive. Based on the report, the new content was made available through a Japanese Website. The translation reveals the new content's release date that is scheduled for March 24.
According to Game Rant, there seems to be a patch before the release of The Ringed City DLC. This patch mainly focuses with the present in-game contents, beyond the new PvP maps. Meanwhile, some rumors are circulating that the upcoming Dark Souls 3 DLC could be pre-loaded together with the patch.
The massive changes in this next patch cover several balance issues, as it focuses on the PvP aspect of the game. The majority of the patch offers a broad range of buffs instead of harsh nerfs. Notably, weapons such as Daggers, Curved Great Swords and Ultra Weapons appears to be much stronger. However, there are still items that receive some nerfs such as Dark Sword, Follower Sabre and Carthus Curved Sword.
Furthermore, Infusions, Heavy armor and lots of weapon animation were ominously changed and will require players to know which one's strong. This pre-DLC update's value cannot be taken for granted as The Ringed City DLC is set to bring back the significant amount of players. Hopefully, this patch and the latest PvP addition, could make a great run beyond the single player features of The Ringed City.
Making this patch available before The Ringed City's official release is a great move by the developers since it will grant players early experience when the expansion pack arrives. Dark Souls 3 The Ringed City DLC is said to be the final DLC release for the franchise.
The details remain unclear on what could players expect after the patch. However, the attention would most likely shift to other future projects. Nonetheless, everyone is hopeful that The Ringed City DLC can meet everyone's expectations.
