Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Photo Taken With Smartphone Leaks Online

Samsung's much-awaited Galaxy Note 3 is slated to make its appearance in the second half of this year. As the countdown to the IFA event in Berlin nears, believed to be where the Galaxy Note 3 will make its debut, the rumors pertaining to the smartphone are gaining traction.

While so far the rumors and leaks have been limited to the design and what lies under the hood of the upcoming Samsung phablet, now a photograph taken allegedly from the Galaxy Note 3 has popped up online.

The picture in question is courtesy of SmartFan and the screenshot of the EXIF data of the image reveals that the photograph has been taken with a Samsung device with the model number GT-N7200.

One may recollect that the previous iterations of the phablet –– Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note 2 –– came with the model numbers GT-N7000 and GT-N7100, respectively. This hints at the possibility that the impending Galaxy Note 3 may have the GT-N7200 model number, which is in sequence to the other Note series handsets.

The EXIF data also discloses that the firmware version of the device is N7200XXUAMEB, assumed to be Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The brightness is recorded at f/2.2, which hints at a good camera sensor at around the 13-megapixel mark. A strong likelihood exists that the Galaxy Note 3 will tout the same primary camera seen in its sibling, the other Samsung 2013 flagship –– Galaxy S4.

Moreover, the photograph it seems was taken without flash and it is likely that it was just the wish of the person who clicked in a bright outdoor locale. The 5.99-inch Galaxy Note 3 will likely come with flash in tow.

With the Galaxy Note 3 slated to make its debut in the second half of this year, it will be interesting to see if the smartphone can better the 6 million sales in two weeks landmark set by the Galaxy S4.
