The popular American police procedural drama, "NCIS" is currently in its 14th season and the finale is drawing near. The executive producers revealed that the finale will be full of action and will leave off with a cliffhanger.
“NCIS” Season 14 Finale Will Be Action-Packed
It has just been reported that “NCIS” Season 14 Episode 24, which is the finale, promises to be packed with big action and surprises. The season finale is titled “Rendezvous” and is set to air on May 16. The said episode will be directed by Tony Wharmby and written by George Schenck, Frank Cardea, and Steven D. Binder.
The “NCIS” finale will reportedly feature Leroy Jethro Gibbs and his team going off to a mission in Paraguay. Certain events will lead to Gibbs having to make a life-changing decision that will affect to entire team, which is teased to be huge cliffhanger. Schenk reiterated that the finale will be a big action episode that fans have to watch for. Cardea added and cautioned that the last five minutes of the said episode should not be missed.
What Could Be The Cliffhanger All About?
Some fans have pointed out that the cliffhanger tease for “NCIS” Season 14’s final episode sounded like a rehash from its previous seasons. However, it seems like the showrunners are making sure that this is something new and will definitely make fans anxious. The finale will reveal a plot development in the long-running series and fans will have to see the result of that in the next season, which CBS has already confirmed.
Fans are speculating that Leroy Gibbs will be out of the show for a while because the actor who portrays the said character, Mark Harmon, is noticeably not in good health. Fans pointed out that Harmon have been looking rather thinner and even had lesser screen time in the show, making them believe that he will be taking a break from “NCIS” to recover. Harmon had said before that everyone has been working hard on “NCIS” to become the most watched drama series.
