OnePlus 5 Leaks Show 2 Different Dual Camera Designs And Various Resolutions

There's no stopping the OnePlus 5 rumors. A few days after its full specifications were revealed via a leak, new ones have surfaced showing what the OnePlus 5 would look like. However, the two renders that were leaked contradict each other in terms of the layout for the device's dual camera. Additionally, the specs of the camera differ from rumor to rumor. One thing is for sure, however, the resolution will be better than current flagship smartphones in the market.

A couple of OnePlus 5 renders each show that the handset will indeed sport dual cameras. However, the orientations of the cameras are completely different. In one of the renders, the vertical dual camera is placed above the OnePlus logo which is situated at the center. This one follows the sketches that were previously leaked and is similar to the OnePlus One's design. The other render shows the dual camera in a horizontal layout and located at the upper left corner of the OnePlus 5. GSMArena pointed out that this resembles the iPhone 7 Plus more.

The OnePlus 5's AnTuTu benchmark results have also leaked and it indicated that the dual camera will have 16 megapixels each. This contradicts previous rumors which say the two shooters will come with 12 megapixels. Earlier rumors also suggested that the OnePlus 5 will utilize a 23-megapixel rear camera. If any of these rumors prove true, the OnePlus 5 will still have impressive cameras.

Android Headlines also noted that there are other differences aside from the dual cameras. The antenna, volume buttons, and the noise canceling microphone of the OnePlus 5 are also placed differently in the two renders.

Perhaps the most exciting rumor regarding the OnePlus 5 is the aforementioned one which divulged each and every possible specification of the highly anticipated flagship smartphone. As mentioned since the rumors started surfacing, the OnePlus 5 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 and will come with up to 8GB of RAM and at least 64GB of internal storage. A number of benchmark tests have also been leaked suggesting that the OnePlus 5 will be more powerful than any flagship smartphone in the market right now.
