Android fans are eagerly waiting for the much-hyped Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Now the company has sent out press invites for its Unpacked event on Sept. 4 where we hope to see the much-rumored phablet.
Samsung just started sending out the press invites, which say "Note the date", giving a subtle hint that the Galaxy Note 3 will launch at the event.
Previously, the company's CEO, JK Shin, had already confirmed that the Galaxy Note 3 will appear at the IFA event in Berlin this year but some reports suggested that the handset may appear earlier than expected. Many rumors also indicated that the Galaxy Note 3 will launch on Sept. 4.
"The South Korea-based company will announce that a special Samsung Unpacked event will be hosted on September 4th, in Berlin, adding that the Galaxy Note 3 will be officially introduced during the aforementioned press conference. The Samsung Unpacked will be a part of the IFA 2013 expo, being a press-only event, that will debut on the first day the Berlin-based tech fair will open its gates for the media," reported AndroidGeeks.
However, some rumors have suggested that the Galaxy Note 3 will make its appearance earlier than September.
"A new report suggests that Samsung may be interested in launching the Galaxy Note 3 earlier than initially planned, in order to compensate for poorer than expected Galaxy S4 sales," reported Android Authority.
Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 in four variants: the original Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy S4 Mini and the Galaxy S4 Zoom. Similarly, some reports hint that the Galaxy Note 3 will also launch in four variants.
The Galaxy Note 2 took some design aspects from the Galaxy S3 and rumors and leaks suggest that the next-generation Galaxy Note 3 will also have a similar design to the Galaxy S4, which launched back in April this year.
The Galaxy Note 2 included top-end features and customers will hope that the Galaxy Note 3 also packs in high-end hardware specifications. However, we will have to wait a bit more before Samsung takes the wraps off the Galaxy Note 3 and reveals the details of the handset.
