Why The Apple MacBook 2016 Will Have No Traditional USB Ports?

Apple is reportedly planning to remove the USB 3.0 port and MagSafe adaptor on its upcoming MacBook Pro 2016, as per Macotakara, the Japanese tech site that was among the first ones to make predictions about Apple intending to remove the headphone jack on the iPhone 7. They have also claimed that the Cupertino-based tech company is going to unveil a 15.4- and 13.3-inch MacBook Pro at their up and coming October 27 event entitled, "Hello again."

The much-awaited MacBook Pro 2016 is upon us

If the rumored reports are true, the MacBook Pros will only be featuring USB Type C and Thunderbolt 3 ports, which will give it a revolutionary way of charging, wherein you would now be charging it through the USB-C and connect the peripherals through Thunderbolt. It would also imply that you would be needing some kind of USB 3.0 adapter, which is also available at any Apple store at $79 USD. Apple will also be releasing a brand new 13.3-inch MacBook Air, which will be the indicator that they will now be discontinuing the 11-inch variant, as per reports. That would also confirm prior rumors that the tech company will be ditching the smaller Air models completely. But it also showed that prior rumors about Apple shutting down the entire Air series completely are not true.

The Revolutionary MPB 2016 will hit sales right after the big event

The MacBook Pro will be featuring an OLED touch bar and will definitely hit on sale immediately after the October 27 event. It is definitely going to be a huge week for Apple lovers and avid fans of the MacBook Pro who have been waiting patiently, and vocally, for a much-needed upgrade. If reports are accurate, the new laptops are going to be incorporated with metal-injection-molded hinges, and utilizing USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 ports, which are also rumored as being reversible so users will no longer have any hard times connecting and charging their MacBook laptops
